Christmas in flip-flops

A typical Tampa Bay Christmas: Shorts and flip-flops are acceptable attire

Time for another Christmas season in shorts and flip-flops. This photo was taken in South Tampa’s Old Hyde Park Village. It seems the day after Halloween has replaced the day after Thanksgiving for retailers to break out the Christmas decor in hopes of not ending up with a lump of coal in their stockings.  Aside from snow on the ground on Christmas morning, our weather in Tampa Bay is the envy of the nation.
