Ybor City
Ybor City is the historical and cultural heart of old Tampa. Once, a thriving cigar manufacturing center, Ybor City is much better known today as an arts and entertainment district. By day, you can stroll the sidewalks and explore funky, eclectic shops, enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace at Centro Ybor or take in the beautiful scenery. You can see a true artist hand-roll a cigar in a storefront window. Vintage clothing stores, incredible restaurants and even a few Irish pubs await your visit. Ybor City is a fun place to relax and enjoy the tranquil slow-pace during the day, but by night it transforms into a sizzling mecca of entertainment. Many bars, restaurants and clubs come alive as the sun goes down. |

South Tampa is one of Tampa’s oldest and most sought-after districts. Located on a peninsula, South Tampa is already fully-developed and densely-populated. Many of Tampa’s oldest and most stately homes are found in South Tampa’s many fine neighborhoods like Hyde Park, Palma Ceia and along Bayshore Boulevard. Rent rates tend to be higher in South Tampa due to the limited availability of quality rental houses and condominiums. |
Northeast Tampa
Northeast Tampa is a large section of the city that is, in parts, densely-populated as well as established master-planned suburbs like New Tampa and Tampa Palms. Most of this area of Tampa is served by Interstate 75. Another major road is Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Northeast Tampa has boomed with many new construction projects and entire neighborhoods developed in the last several years. Open pastures have given way to upscale housing communities and premium shopping areas. |
